West Lutheran Prepares for “Bye Bye Birdie”
The snow may be coming but that’s not dampening the preparation at West Lutheran High School for its presentation of “Bye Bye Birdie.”
“This is such a wonderful production,” said Director Lisa Denninger. “It’s 60 years old which is funny. In some ways it does show its age. But it was the first big Broadway show that Dick Van Dyke did.”
“Bye Bye Birdie” opens at 7 p.m. Friday and runs through the weekend at West Lutheran High School.
