‘Unique’ Crystal Townhome Project Breaks Ground
Townhomes with upscale amenities are coming to Crystal next spring.
At the corner of 36th and Douglas, a small house is being torn down. Soon, it will become four twin townhomes. That means each townhome will have two units, each complete with three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms and a garage.
Aaron Baruch, one of the developers, said the unit will have an in-unit washer and dryer, as well as granite countertops and other modern fixtures that will set it apart.
“I think this is going to make it something unique to Crystal,” he said. “A lot of the townhomes here are from the 60s and 70s.”
Baruch expects the properties to be ready by spring 2025 and rented at market rate.
He worked with the city of Crystal to get the plot. Crystal community leaders, alongside Baruch and his father, broke ground on the property on Thursday.
