Townhomes, Apartments Proposed for Hwy 169 & Bass Lake Road in Plymouth
Fargo, N.D.-based Enclave Cos. is proposing a mixed-use development west of Highway 169 and south of Bass Lake Road, next to Superior Ford in Plymouth.
The proposal calls for 20 two-story townhomes and 186 apartment units. Enclave also proposes roughly 14,000 square feet of retail uses for the project.
The nearly 19-acre site currently includes a Speedway gas station with the rest of the neighboring properties undeveloped. The gas station would remain. The apartments would be divided up by constructing three buildings, each three stories tall. The townhomes would be constructed in five buildings, each containing four units.
A sketch plan shows the two-story townhomes would be located farthest west, near existing villa-style residential homes to the west across Nathan Lane. Enclave stated the townhomes would provide a transition to the three apartment buildings which would be located farthest east.
The same development team also has a project planned this year for Brooklyn Park. Enclave also worked on an apartment project last year in Maple Grove.
Enclave designs, builds and manages all its projects. It has its own in-house construction company, Enclave Construction, and apartment management company, Lux Communities.
