Tired of Excessive Calls, Dancing Bear Chocolate Cancels Scammed Phone Number
After someone swiped the phone number of Dancing Bear Chocolate and used it for a Google ad scam, the Robbinsdale owners of the shop were unsuccessful in stopping the repeated phone calls from angry people who had been scammed. Earlier this year, a Google ad scam used their phone number which resulted in hundreds of phone calls. See story here.
Left with no options, the owners canceled the phone line and encouraged customers to send them an email or stop by in person. They made the announcement on their Facebook page that reads, “if you need to talk to us via phone send an email to DancingBearChocolate@gmail.com with your phone number and we will call you back or better yet just come and see us and lets chat face to face.”
