Suspect Arrested After Multiple Gunshots Fired Near Brooklyn Park Home
A Brooklyn Park man was arrested on Friday after a tense but brief gunpoint standoff with police.
According to a press release, 911 callers reported hearing gunshots fired near a home in the 7600 block of Regent Avenue.
Arriving police officers on the scene found evidence of gunfire. They surrounded the house and restricted travel in the area.
A brief standoff ensued, but the suspect soon left the house and surrendered to the police.
Police searched the home and found a handgun believed to have been previously fired by the suspect.
No was was injured during the incident.
