Robbinsdale’s The Bird House Restaurant Coming in the Spring
The owners of The Bulldog restaurants are renovating the old Canton Garden space on West Broadway in Robbinsdale to turn it into The Bird House. The restaurant will be open sometime next spring.
Owners have ties to Robbinsdale and live nearby. For the first time, they participated in Robbinsdale’s Annual Give and Get.
They also hope The Bird House fare can contribute something a little different to the downtown restaurant scene.
“This concept is going to be slightly different than The Bulldog,” explained Josh Dykhuis, one of the owners. “But that’s what we were going for. There’s a lot of business that give an exceptional experience, and we want to be an everyday experience.”
Dykhuis says The Bird House hopes to serve up comfort food and have a family atmosphere.
