Shots Fired at Golden Valley Police, Two Arrested
Golden Valley police have arrested two suspects, including one person who police say fired several shots at officers on Wednesday night.
Police initially responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 3000 block of Major Avenue North. Officers located that vehicle, which took off and then “became disabled” seven blocks away, police said in a release to CCX News.
A suspect fled from the vehicle and fired at least five rounds at officers. Golden Valley officers did not return fire, police said.
After a brief search of the area, police arrested the suspected shooter. A second suspect, who was still in the vehicle, was also taken into custody.
Police say no officers were injured in the incident.
