Robbinsdale School Board Appoints New Board Member

The Robbinsdale School Board announced they have filled a vacant seat. The announcement came at a recent school board meeting.

Sharon Brooks Green was appointed to the board and will serve beginning Monday, Nov. 1, 2021. She will serve a one-year term that will end December 31, 2022. Brooks Green replaces Pam Lindberg, who resigned in August after voicing concerns about “too much hate” coming from the community in regards to the position.

Brooks Green said in a press release that serving is “a privilege that I have been appointed to, but even more so, I am honored to fulfill.”

Nine candidates applied for the school board position, and four were selected as finalists.
