Reward Increased to $11K for Information on Death of Youth Baseball Coach
The reward has increased to help Plymouth police find the person who shot and killed youth baseball coach Jay Boughton along Highway 169.
The law firm Schwebel, Goetz and Sieben announced it will raise the reward to $11,000, an increase of $10,000. The crime happened on July 6. Someone in an SUV shot Boughton, 56, of Crystal, on southbound 169 as he was driving home from a baseball game with his son.
Video from traffic cameras was blurred that night because of rain, but police say the vehicle was a silver Chevy Suburban, model years 2015 to 2020.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
