Police Arrest Three Suspects in Armed Robbery
Police in Robbinsdale arrested three suspects accused of holding up a tobacco shop in Brooklyn Park Tuesday afternoon.
According to Brooklyn Park police, officers responded shortly before 4 p.m. to a report of a robbery at gunpoint inside Boone Tobacco. Police said the victim was able to provide a description of the vehicle used by the robbery suspects.
Soon after, Robbinsdale police located the suspect vehicle at 36th Avenue North and County Road 81.
Officers made three arrests, police said. The suspects, all males, are ages 44, 31 and 17.
Police said they also recovered a firearm and items taken during the robbery.
Charges in the case were pending Wednesday.
