Overnight Closures Planned for West Broadway Bridge Project
Recent rain delayed work on the West Broadway bridge project, so the road will be closed overnight starting tonight through Thursday night while bridge beams are installed. Robbinsdale residents who live nearby can also expect noise during the overnight construction.
Overnight closures are planned for the intersection connecting Victory Memorial and Theodore Wirth Parkways, Lowry Avenue and Oakdale Avenue. There are detours posted.
The project by the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Robbinsdale and Minneapolis will replace three bridges and improve intersections below the bridges.
The project is still about 18 months from completion.
