Osseo School District Extends Winter Break By Three Days
District 279 officials say an extended winter break will allow “everyone to re-energize.” Osseo Area Schools announced Monday that it will add Dec. 20-22 to the winter break with school still resuming on Jan. 3.
The district said as a result of the change, additional modifications were needed to meet state learning requirements. Learn more about those here.
Some parents criticized the decision saying it will further stress families forced to juggle work and child care over the winter break.
