Osseo Mayor, New Council Member Take Oath
The city of Osseo swore in a mayor and a new council member Monday night.
Mayor Duane Poppe took the oath of office after he won re-election last fall. Poppe was first elected in 2012.
Mayors in the city of Osseo serve two-year terms.
Meanwhile, Osseo City Council member Nick Torres was also sworn in. This is the first term of office for Torres.
Council members in Osseo serve staggered four-year terms.
