Neighbors helping Neighbors: Brooklyn Park Businesses Provide Food
During the coronavirus outbreak, it’s easy to be inundated with news you might perceive as negative.
But there are positive stories to share too.
ChueFeng Lee owns Locksmith Disciples on Xerxes Avenue in Brooklyn Park. Earlier this week, he posted on Facebook that he was offering free food at his business. Now, he’s expanded his goodwill to partner with nearby Thai Fusion to provide food to families in need.
“In this trying times, I choose to be positive,” said Lee. “I was taught to be this way.”
They will make turkey egg rolls, plus include an orange, apple, fruit snack, chips/crackers, and a beverage. Then, deliver to families and apartment buildings. They hope to give out at least 100 meals.
