Nadia Cakes Partners with Plymouth-Based Nikkolette’s Macarons
A popular Maple Grove cupcake shop has a new item thanks to a partnership with a business in Plymouth.
Nadia Cakes began selling macarons from Plymouth-based Nikkolette’s Macarons this past weekend.
“We started on Saturday,” said Maria Kowalzek, the assistant manager of Nadia Cakes. “So this just past Saturday and it was mind-blowing. We had people coming in like crazy for those.”
For those unfamiliar, a macaron consists of a meringue shell and cream filling.
The partnership came about after representatives from the two businesses met during an event at Canterbury Park.
Kowalzek calls it “a match made in heaven.”
“Their presentation is beautiful,” Kowalzek said of Nikkolette’s Macarons. “They look gorgeous. They taste delicious, and they’re just a great little pairing with cupcakes.”
Nadia Cakes currently has 12 flavors on hand. They plan to rotate flavors in and out during the coming weeks.
