Nadia Cakes Owner Abby Jimenez Releases Fourth Book
A local baker who has added the title of “bestselling author” to her resume now has a new book out that’s garnering rave reviews.
“You know I’m very humbled by all of it,” said Abby Jimenez. “For me though, it isn’t really the achievements of the book, but more like, getting to connect with my readers. That’s the part that I really enjoy.”
Jimenez, who is the award-winning owner of Maple Grove’s Nadia Cakes, just released her fourth book, titled “Part of Your World.”
The book is a romantic comedy about a woman who has to choose between following her family’s wishes of becoming a surgeon or having a life with a “ridiculously hot” carpenter who’s 10 years younger.

“Part of Your World” debuted at No. 13 on the New York Times bestseller list, and all of the local readers out there may appreciate the fact that the book is set in Minnesota.
“It’s super fun to read if you’re local to Minnesota,” Jimenez said. “And if you’ve never picked up a romance or you think you don’t like romance, I challenge you to read this book because it’s different than what you think it’s going to be. Romance has come a long way in the last 20 years from the Fabio bodice rippers that you used to get at the drug store. Romance nowadays is very smart, it’s very relatable.”
