Update: New Hope Motorcyclist Killed in Maple Grove Crash
A motorcyclist died after slamming into a vehicle near Bass Lake Road and Jewel Lane North in Maple Grove Tuesday night. Authorities say the motorcyclist was traveling at speeds of at least 90 miles per hour.
Police say the driver of a SUV turned onto eastbound Bass Lake Road when the motorcyclist crashed into the SUV. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the motorcyclist as Rico Sookha Sisombath, 28, from New Hope.
No one else was injured in the crash.
