Motorcyclist Killed in Brooklyn Park Crash
Police in Brooklyn Park say a motorcyclist died in a crash that occurred Thursday evening.
The incident happened at approximately 6:10 p.m. by the intersection of Oxbow Creek Drive and Quail Avenue North.
According to a Brooklyn Park police news alert, police say the motorcyclist lost control and slid under a passenger car based on witness reports. It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the driver of the motorcycle to lose control.
Brooklyn Park police say first responders attempted life-saving measures, but the driver of the motorcycle did not survive.
As of Friday afternoon, the identity of the person killed had not been released.
Besides Brooklyn Park police, the Brooklyn Park Fire Department and North Memorial Health paramedics responded to the crash. The Minnesota State Patrol and Hennepin County investigators provided assistance in processing the crash scene.
