Mother, Children Shot At While Driving Through Brooklyn Park
Brooklyn Park Highway Shooting Involved “Known Suspect”
It was a chaotic moment on a Brooklyn Park roadway Wednesday evening. Police say a mother and her children were shot at while driving through a busy area of the city.
According to Brooklyn Park police, officers responded to Highway 610 and Noble Parkway at around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday. They soon located the victims’ vehicle, which had two flat tires from the shooting.
The mother and children were not injured.
A preliminary investigation revealed the shooting was not random and that the victims were being followed by a “known suspect.”
Police say the man fired multiple times from his vehicle. The case remains under investigation.
