Maple Grove Woman Charged with Shooting, Killing Boyfriend
A Maple Grove woman is charged with shooting and killing her boyfriend at a Maple Grove townhome last week.
Stephanie Clark, 29, is charged with second-degree murder. If convicted, the maximum recommended sentence is 40 years.
Officers responded to a home at in the 6200 block of Magda Drive last Thursday evening. A criminal complaint says police found the boyfriend dead on the floor and Clark told police the boyfriend assaulted her.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the boyfriend as Don’Juan Butler, age 30, of Maple Grove. The examiner says Butler died of multiple gunshot wounds.
