Maple Grove Farmers Market Opens Outdoor Season
The Maple Grove Farmers Market has started its outdoor season.
More than 50 vendors will set up shop this year in the parking lot in front of the Maple Grove Community Center.
A wide range of items for sale include frozen meats, plants for your garden, homemade pierogies and popular drinks like kombucha. There’s some new vendors this year too.
“We have a cheese vendor, a chocolate bar vendor, we have a banana bread vendor and we have a pet vendor coming in,” said Mao Lee, manager of the Maple Grove Farmers Market. “We’re trying to change things up, try to make it more diverse for our customers.”
You can catch the outdoor farmers market every Thursday afternoon and evening through mid-October. The hours are 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., but switch to 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in October.
