Local Teachers Added to Semifinalists for Teacher of the Year
Education Minnesota announced this week that it has added 11 more teachers to its semifinalist list for Teacher of the Year. The union group, which represents nearly 90,000 educators, said the addition was due to a data error as to why the teachers were left off the list.
Lance Fredrickson from Oak View Elementary joins Jennifer Hairrell from Maple Grove Middle School, Lisa Neaderhiser from Jackson Middle School and Tatiana O’Donnell from Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion in the contest.
A winner will be announced in May.
