I-94 Construction Maple Grove to Clearwater Begins Monday
On Monday, traffic will shift on I-94 between Maple Grove and St. Michael for a construction project that will last throughout the summer months. Crews will be adding lanes, resurfacing the freeway and replacing bridges between St. Michael and Albertville.
Drivers will have to make a decision just before Weaver Lake Road which lane they will take. You’ll either be able to access local roads or you’ll bypass straight to St. Michael. The construction is part of a $350 million project where crews are adding lanes, resurfacing the freeway and replacing bridges between St. Michael and Albertville. There will be an interchange near Dayton and an additional lane between Highway 610 and Highway 101.
