Hindu Temple in Maple Grove Hosts 3-Day Celebration
A significant event in Maple Grove will draw hundreds of people to the Hindu temple in Maple Grove.
“On behalf of the Hindu Society of Minnesota, I want to invite all of you to the three-day Rama Rajyotsavam event,” said Padma Naidu, president of the Hindu Society of Minnesota. “It’s a huge event.”
Close to a thousand people are expected over the three-day event that celebrates the story of Rama, one of the most widely worshiped deities in the Hindu faith. The celebration includes ethnic food and music. All members of the public are invited.
The Hindu Temple of Minnesota serves close to 50,000 Hindus in the Twin Cities, plus another 50,000 from the five-state region.
