Gunshot Enters Brooklyn Park Apartment Unit From Floor Below
It was a scary moment in Brooklyn Park for an apartment tenant who had to call 911 after a bullet entered that person’s unit.
The incident happened Wednesday shortly after 11:30 p.m. at the Point of America apartments, located on the 7800 block of Zane Ave. N.
According to Brooklyn Park police, when officers arrived, they determined the shot came from the apartment unit directly below. The person in the unit above was not injured, police said.
Brooklyn Park police say they detained several people in the unit from where the shot came from. They also executed a search warrant, but didn’t disclose what they found.
The police investigation continued on Thursday. Charges in the case are pending.
