Grooves and Foods Festival Returns to Maple Grove Starting July 17
Coming to Maple Grove’s Town Green this summer: a return of the Grooves and Foods music festival.
This year there are seven shows, all offering tributes to music legends.
“It’s a big free event. It’s all ages, family-friendly event, seven weeks, lots of great food, a lot of great food trucks,” said Maple Grove musician and promoter Mick Sterling, who is producing six of the shows.
Every week is a different band paying tribute to a wide range of famous acts such as The Bee Gees, Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones and Heart. The full list of acts is available here.
The shows run every Wednesday evening starting July 17 through Aug. 28. Each event begins at at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 8:45 p.m.
Food and concessions, including beverage services provided by Lynde’s Catering, open at 5 p.m.
The Rotary Club of Maple Grove is helping to sponsor the festival, which is also supported financially by the city of Maple Grove and the city’s Parks and Recreation Department.
