Elderly Woman Dies in Crystal House Fire
Crystal House Fire Kills Elderly Woman
A woman died following a fire inside a Crystal home Saturday afternoon.
The fire occurred at about 12:45 p.m. Saturday on the 5700 block of Quail Avenue North. Crystal police and the West Metro Fire-Rescue District were the first responding agencies.
“When we arrived on scene the house was fully engulfed,” said Crystal Police Chief Stephanie Revering in a release to CCX News.
The elderly woman, whose identity has not yet been released, was located inside the home.
Officials say preliminary evidence points toward the fire starting accidentally.
