Driver ID’d in Maple Grove Fatal Crash
Authorities have identified a driver killed in a single-vehicle car crash in Maple Grove.
The accident happened Wednesday, March 2, at 5 p.m. near the intersection of Nottingham Parkway and Bass Lake Road. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the driver as 50-year-old Troy Miest of Maple Grove
Police say Miest was heading south on Nottingham Parkway when his vehicle left the road, struck a fence and several trees before ending up in a residential back yard. Miest died at the scene.
