Cooper HS’s Eric Zuccola, District 287’s Jon Fila Named Teacher of the Year Finalists
Cooper High School teacher Eric Zuccola and Jon Fila, an English teacher for Intermediate District 287, will advance to become finalists for Education Minnesota’s Teacher of the Year.
Zuccola teaches English for grades 9-12 at Cooper High School and is also the advisor for the student newspaper, The Quill.
Jon Fila also teaches English for grades 9-12 through Northern Star Online, which is part of Intermediate District 287.
2022 Teacher of the Year Finalists
A selection panel will meet on April 30 to conduct individual interviews with each finalist and cast votes.
A winner will be announced on May 1.
