Construction Begins on SilverCreek on Main Senior Townhomes in Maple Grove
More living spaces for seniors are coming to Maple Grove.
City leaders and executives at SilverCrest Properties broke ground on the last phase of the SilverCreek on Main senior construction Tuesday afternoon.
Construction of the 18 townhomes at SilverCreek will complete a project that’s been in the works since 2015.
On what is now an empty plot of land will soon be 18 cottage-style townhomes for seniors. Denise Juday Barnett, chief operating officer, said executives, developers and residents are excited for work to be complete on the SilverCreek on Main senior housing development.

“The residents who live here, which we have many who moved in 2015, have been waiting for this final phase,” Juday Barnett said. “They see it as an opportunity to have more people to get to know.”
Juday Barnett said the townhome housing will allow its residents to live independently while also accessing amenities offered by the senior living community.
The project also helps address the high demand for senior housing seen regionwide.
Construction is expected to finish up in August 2024.
