BrookLynk Youth Jobs Program Awarded $75K State Grant
An organization dedicated to helping local youth who face barriers to employment just got a big funding boost to help its mission.
BrookLynk, a youth employment program directed by Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center, received a $75,000 “Youth at Work” grant from Minnesota’s Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).
The program helps people ages 14 to 21 learn essential job skills such as interviewing, networking and professionalism.
BrookLynk is one of 39 organizations across Minnesota to receive a Youth at Work grant from the state.
