Brooklyn Park Veteran To March in National Memorial Day Parade
A Brooklyn Park veteran will carry the Minnesota flag in the National Memorial Day Parade.
Devin Montero, a U.S. Air Force veteran, served in Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm in 1990 and 1991.
Montero will march in the parade on Monday afternoon along Constitution Avenue in Washington, D.C.
The parade starts at 1 p.m. and will be broadcast live by the American Veterans Center.
Montero works as Brooklyn Park’s city clerk.
