Brooklyn Park Police Recover ‘Large Amount’ of Gunfire Evidence from Weekend Shooting
Brooklyn Park police say they continue to investigate a shooting incident that occurred over the weekend in broad daylight.
According to Brooklyn Park police, officers were dispatched around 4:20 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, to a strip mall in the 5700 block of Brookdale Drive North on the report of “several groups of people shooting at each other.”
When officers arrived, they located what police described as a “large amount” of shell casings in the parking lot of the strip mall.
Police said they did not locate anyone injured.
It’s unclear what led to the shooting.
As of Monday, no arrests had been made, police said.
