Brooklyn Park Police: Man Shot Would Not Help Officers with Investigation

Brooklyn Park police are investigating a shooting in which one man was shot at an apartment complex.

Officers responded at around 2:10 a.m. Saturday to the Autumn Ridge Apartments, located at 8508 63rd Ave. N.

When they arrived, officers located one person shot and began providing aid to him. The man sustained non-life threatening injuries, but “refused transport to the hospital from paramedics,” police said.

“The victim was uncooperative with police and was not forthcoming with information related to the shooting,” said Brooklyn Park police in a news release.

Brooklyn Park police said they located evidence related to the shooting.

No new details were available midday Monday. The police investigation is ongoing.
