The new year provided good fortune to the owner of a winning lottery ticket in Brooklyn Center.
Minnesota Lottery officials say two people won $1 million in the Jan. 1, 2020 drawing for the Minnesota Millionaire Raffle. One of the winning tickets was sold at the Cub Foods in Brooklyn Center near Bass Lake Road and Brooklyn Boulevard. Another was sold at a Shell gas station in Burnsville.
The winning numbers are as follows:

The lottery announcement continued a hot streak for seven-figure lottery wins in the state. Over the last three weeks, three other lottery tickets sold in Minnesota won at least $1 million.
They include a $1.6 million Gopher 5 ticket sold in Hermantown on Dec. 16 and two $1 million Powerball tickets, one sold in Mankato on Dec. 18 and the other in Big Lake on Dec. 21.
