Snow Removal in Plymouth
A snowfall of two inches or more triggers a snow emergency in the city of Plymouth, and parking is prohibited on all streets until the street has been plowed curb-to-curb. As a reminder, there’s no parking on city streets from 2 to 5am year-round. The city’s live plow map lets you see which streets have been cleared and track progress of the crews. Be a good neighbor and help clear snow and ice around fire hydrants and storm drains. Use salt sparingly–a little goes a long way–and sweep up & reuse any extra that remains after the ice melts so that it doesn’t become a contaminant to bodies of water. Go to http://www.plymouthmn.gov/snow to find all the snow removal guidelines, view the live plow map, and sign up for snow emergency alerts.
