River Park Grand Reopening Celebration
Come celebrate the newly renovated River Park in Brooklyn Park! There’ll be a Grand Reopening celebration to show off the many improvements, including a new picnic shelter and park building, river overlooks, expanded parking, a new walking loop with trail connections to the West Mississippi Regional Trail, and much more. There’ll be a paddle share demo that’ll show how easy it is to kayak the Mississippi River, as well as food trucks, a story walk, Rec on the Go, and a fishing clinic.
