Mayor’s Minutes: Robbinsdale’s Bill Blonigan
Robbinsdale Mayor Bill Blonigan spoke recently with CCX Media’s Dave Kiser about the upcoming Meet and Greet and changes coming to the city’s new water treatment facility.

The Chamber of Commerce’s Meet and Greet will be on West Broadway on September 9 starting at 5:00 p.m.
“You have a chance to walk around and meet the merchants and other chamber members,” said Blonigan. There will also be raffle prizes and other activities on the street with traffic shut down.
The city’s new water treatment plant, which has already won awards, is getting solar panels installed on its roof.
“These solar panels will provide about 11 percent of the electricity for this very large facility,” said Blonigan. “We will get a 30-40 percent tax credit to pay for these.”
