Mayor’s Minutes: Plymouth’s Jeff Wosje
Plymouth Mayor Jeff Wosje spoke to CCX Media’s Dave Kiser about an exciting summer in his city.
He took a look back at the recent grand opening of the new additions to Meadows Playfield, including the new cricket pitch.
“In 2018, when I first ran for mayor, one of the things I heard from the northwest part of the city is: there’s so much demand and people really wanted to see us have a cricket pitch,” said Mayor Wosje. He and other city leaders recently celebrated the opening of the new pitch with a community event.
Wosje also made a pitch for the city’s Night to Unite gatherings on Tuesday, August 5.
“It’s a great evening to celebrate our neighborhoods, and to get neighbors to meet neighbors,” said Wosje. “It’s a great family time and a great neighborhood time.”
He also promoted the upcoming concert at Hilde Performance Center featuring Rumours: The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute Show and the Kids Fest at the Hilde.
