Maple Grove Out With Its Community Survey This Spring
Maple Grove is out with its 2026 Community Survey. There are two ways residents can participate. A select group of close to 5,000 residents will receive instructions in the mail for how to participate, and then, starting May 8, an online version of the same survey will be available.

Maple Grove City Council could get a report about the results of this year’s Community Survey by mid-summer.
“We will be getting those results of the survey back about June time frame, and we’ll work on a report for city council that we anticipate will be in front of them at the second meeting in July,” said City Administrator Heidi Nelson.
Nelson said the city uses the data to review different issues facing the city and to continually examine how its services are received by those who live in the city.
She said every survey (the last one was in 2022) involves a few select questions about topical issues. This year’s survey includes a question about the Maple Grove Yard Waste Drop-Off Site.
“We know (the site) is poised for development in the next few years,” said Nelson. “What are the residents’ reactions or thoughts about the future of that site?”
The other topical question is about the possibility of centralized water softening for the city’s utility customers.
“Hopefully folks can take time to respond to the survey, and we really appreciate their participation,” she said.
