Edinburgh USA Welcomes New Restaurant, Catering Options
Customers, special event clients, and golfers at Edinburgh USA, Brooklyn Park’s city-owned golf course, can now enjoy new food options at the spacious clubhouse.
“Edinburgh has a lot of history, from the golf side of things, of being a very high-end, to, well-maintained wonderful golf course in the Twin Cities market, and we definitely want to interject a scratch-made, very well-produced menu and food and beverage operation and beverage program here that pairs well with the golf course,” said Jason Tollette, owner and operator of Tavern at Edinburgh, which takes over the clubhouse’s restaurant space in March. “Our concept has always been we’re a restaurant that just happens to be at a golf course. We definitely cater to not only the golf aspect of business, but also the off-the-street diner and also the banquet customer as well.”

The clubhouses boasts several spaces for rent for special events, and Clubhouse Supervisor Roxann Maxey said the new restaurant comes online at the same time the city now allows those who rent the facility to bring in catering options from outside vendors.
“This is the first time that you’ll see that at Edinburgh golf course, you’ll see that flexibility,” said Maxey. “We want to make sure we are also supporting our other community restaurants, caterers within the community. So a great opportunity for a client to go ahead and pick something that maybe fits more with their food interests or traditions or within their budget that they can have that flexibility that find a caterer that fits their need from the best.”
