Wagner and Thielke Lead Champlin Park Boys Basketball Past Irondale in 5AAAA Quarterfinals
Seniors Tyler Wagner and Preston Thielke led the Champlin Park boys basketball team to a 93-66 win over Irondale in the Section 5AAAA quarterfinals.
Wagner scored a game high 27 points and Thielke netted 17 as the Rebels advanced to the semifinals.
Champlin Park took a 20-point lead into halftime and outscored the Knights by seven in the second half.
Moussa Dukuly also added 10 points and Mo Jalloh chipped in 9.
The Rebels face Mounds View in the 5AAAA semifinals at home on Friday night.
