What are your qualifications for this office?
I have lived in Robbinsdale for 15 years. My wife, my 11-year old son, our Antatolian Shepard and I enjoy walking on on the parkway, visiting Crystal Lake, and shopping and dining in downtown Robbinsdale. I am an attorney with a Minneapolis law firm. I have previously served on the Robbinsdale Human Rights Commission. I also served two terms on the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and I am currently on the Minnesota Board of Legal Certification.
What do you hope to accomplish in office?
Robbinsdale is well-governed on a day-to-day basis and I want to continue that tradition. I am pro-light rail and pro-economic development. I want to continue efforts to clean up Crystal Lake. Before the murder of George Floyd I was already concerned about policing in Robbinsdale. Now I think we need a complete review of the Robbinsdale police department and we should keep all options on the table for reform.
