Young Maple Grove Girls Basketball Team Set for 2025-’26 Season
The Maple Grove girls basketball team had a historic season last winter, finishing as Class AAAA state runner-up.
The Crimson lost four of five starters from a season ago – Miss Basketball award-winner Jordan Ode and Addie, Bella, and Lexi Hanna.
Now a largely inexperienced Maple Grove team looks forward to the challenge of replacing the talent left behind.
Montana commit Kate Holmquist is the lone starter back for MG.
Sophia Anderson and Sienna Mayer also saw playing time last season.
STMA transfer Mariah Sexton will look to make an impact as well.
Maple Grove will begin their season against Rochester Mayo on Saturday in the Breakdown Tip-Off Tournament at Southwest Christian High School.
