Wayzata’s Hayden Tibbits Commits to St. Thomas
Wayzata basketball standout Hayden Tibbits is headed to Division One college basketball.
The senior announced on Twitter that he will attend the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.
The Tommies are transitioning from Division 3 to Division 1 and play in the Summit League.
Tibbits helped lead Wayzata to its second Class AAAA championship in three years with an outstanding season.
The guard averaged 21 points per game to lead the team while also averaging over four assists and three rebounds a game.
Tibbits was a Mr. Basketball finalist and will join 2022 Wayzata High School graduate Carter Bjerke on the St. Thomas roster.
