Wayzata’s Charlie Piller Wins 2023-24 Minnesota Boys Soccer Gatorade Player of the Year
To go along with his two state championships, Wayzata’s Charlie Piller also recently earned the accolade of being named the 2023-24 Minnesota Boys Soccer Gatorade Player of the Year.
Piller was a senior midfielder on the Trojans soccer team that went 20-0-2 and defeated Maple Grove in the Class AAA state championship to claim their second consecutive state title.
Piller led Wayzata in assists with sixteen and scored six goals.
Next fall, Piller will play soccer at St. Olaf College. The Oles won the 2023 NCAA Division III national championship.
