Wayzata Wrestling Pins Minnetonka
The Wayzata wrestling team started its match Wednesday with five straight pins on the way to a 63-14 win over Lake Conference opponent Minnetonka.
Among the ranked wrestlers for the Trojans to win were Luke Koenen at 106 pounds, Kyler Wong at 145, and Adam Cherne at 170. All three are ranked in the top five in the state in their weight class.
Wayzata’s season record in duals is now 3-2.
