Wayzata Wins Section 5AA Girls Swimming & Diving
Wayzata won nine of twelve events on the way to easily capturing the team title at the Section 5AA girls swimming and diving meet.
Champlin Park placed second and Armstrong third in the meet, which was held in multiple sessions due to COVID-19.
Jenna Marquette won the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke for the Trojans.
Amber Croonquist won two events for Osseo, taking the top spot in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly.
There is no state meet this season due to the COVID-19 situation.
