Wayzata wins 5AA girls swimming/diving

Wayzata has been among the state’s top programs in girls swimming and diving for the past several seasons. The Trojans won the Section 5AA meet Saturday in Plymouth with 600 team points. Armstrong was second, followed by Champlin Park and Hopkins. Wayzata set a pool record in the 200 medley relay to start the meet, then also got record setting performances from Elly Morrison in diving (pool record) and Jordan McGinty (pool record in the 200 IM and section and pool record in the 100 freestyle).
