Wayzata Volleyball Sweeps into Section Final
The Wayzata volleyball team swept Spring Lake Park in the Section 5AAAA semifinals Thursday to advance to next week’s section final.
The Trojans defeated the Panthers 25-10, 25-11 and 25-21.
Wayzata (30-0) has the top-ranked team in Class 4A all season and now meets second-seeded and sixth-ranked Champlin Park for the section championship Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Osseo High School.
The Trojans beat the Rebels in four sets during a regular season match earlier this month.
